Founded in 2024, UMERA Productions is a rising independent film company dedicated to crafting bold, emotional, and meaningful stories. Based in Porto, Portugal, our mission is to spotlight voices that are often unheard, while exploring themes such as mental health, identity, spirituality, love, and resilience.
What started as a dream became a movementone that reflects the passion and vision of a young Black female filmmaker with a love for cinema and storytelling. Each project we develop is led with intention, artistic depth, and the courage to push boundaries.
